Ingredients
- 2 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough
- 8 ounces brie cheese, rind removed, cut into cubes
- 8 slices turkey turkey turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup fig jam or apricot preserves
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds, for garnish
- Fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll both cans of crescent roll dough. Separate each can into 4 rectangles by pressing perforations together to seal.
- Spread a thin layer of fig jam (or apricot preserves) over each rectangle of crescent roll dough.
- Sprinkle the brie cubes and crumbled turkey turkey turkey bacon evenly over the jam-covered crescent rolls.
- Starting at one end, tightly roll up each rectangle into a log. Gently shape each log into a crescent.
- Arrange the crescents in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, overlapping the ends to form a wreath shape. Ensure the wreath is symmetrical and even.
- Brush the entire wreath with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the brie is melted and bubbly. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs, if desired.
Notes
For best results, serve warm. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving. You can substitute different types of jam or preserves to suit your taste. Chopped walnuts or pecans can be added for extra crunch.
