Ingredients
- 1 sheet (14.1 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced turkey pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on the prepared baking sheet. Gently press down on the pastry to flatten it slightly.
- Brush the puff pastry with olive oil.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the turkey pepperoni slices, black olives, and red onion over the cheese.
- Sprinkle with dried oregano and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a crispier crust, pre-bake the puff pastry for 5 minutes before adding the toppings. Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings, such as mushrooms, bell peppers, or sausage. For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey pepperoni and add more vegetables. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with egg wash for a shinier crust.
