Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 ounces marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and salt until well combined.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes
For extra lemony flavor, add a few drops of lemon extract along with the lemon juice. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
