Ingredients
- 1 sheet (14.1 oz) puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled turkey turkey turkey bacon
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Everything bagel seasoning, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, chopped jalapeños, and crumbled turkey turkey turkey bacon. Mix until well combined.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the entire sheet of puff pastry.
- Fold the puff pastry in half, pressing lightly to seal the edges.
- Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the folded pastry into 12 strips.
- Twist each strip several times to create a spiral shape. Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the twists with milk and sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving. Serve warm.
Notes
For a spicier twist, use more jalapeños or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture. Store leftover twists in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results. You can substitute with different cheese, like pepper jack or mozzarella.
