  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half horizontally.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush the mixture evenly over the top and bottom halves of the slider buns.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish. Layer the roast beef evenly over the buns, followed by the provolone cheese slices.
  4. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
  5. While the sliders are baking, prepare the au jus. In a saucepan, combine beef broth, soy sauce, thyme, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove the sliders from the oven and slice them into individual sliders. Serve immediately with the warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, try adding caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms to the sliders before baking. You can also use a different type of cheese, such as Swiss or Monterey Jack. Leftover au jus can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
