Ingredients
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), and apple cider vinegar. Whisk until well combined.
- Add the kielbasa pieces to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the glaze.
- Spread the kielbasa bites in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the glaze is bubbly and the kielbasa is caramelized, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. The candied kielbasa bites are best served warm.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more cayenne pepper. Store leftover candied kielbasa bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
